Focus on the Beauty in Life

We should try daily to focus not on the frustrations and ugly things in life. Let us find beauty in everything we can! We often take for granted the beauty and blessings of every day life…sunshine, trees, flowers, loved ones, air conditioning on a hot day, warmth inside your home on a cold winter day, and luxuries such as washing machines, dishwashers, and so forth… I often think of my mom who found beauty in just about any situation including being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. For as long as I can remember, she always said, “We’re making memories. One day, we’ll look back on this and laugh!”. She had that attitude until her death on January 22, 2019. She left a legacy of looking at life with “the glass half full” mentality. She tried to make the most of any situation. She was truly a lover of life! I look back and wished I would have expressed my love and appreciation for my mom more! Share your love with others today! You just never know how long you may have them! Stop and enjoy life’s beauties and those people who have been placed in your life!

Mom, Dad, and our Kids in Summer 2018…Mom had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer but was determined to see our farm! I know it brought her such peace seeing our place.
