First of all, I’m not a doctor nor has any of the information been approved by the FDA. I’m just a mama who’s tried to keep her family healthy using natural means. This concoction works really well when treating sore throats, head congestion, ear infections, and more. I would recommend using this concoction in conjunction with fever baths. Recipe and Instructions:
- 6 lemons, juiced (should equal 1 cup)
- 12 garlic cloves (I’ve used garlic powder or pre-chopped garlic before as well.)
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
- 2 teaspoons powdered ginger
- 1 tablespoon honey
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Add pineapple juice to make 1 quart of concoction. Drink 1 cup every 3 to 4 hours. *Children should get 1/2 cup (Might need to be watered down or need something added to it to reduce heat.)
*Years ago, I survived Strep Throat by drinking this (it was hard to swallow for a while!), taking fever baths, and getting lots of rest! I took a fever bath 3 to 4 times a day and took the concoction as recommended. I was almost back to normal after 24 hours.*
